I love this girl, but I love this jacket more. I tried this on last week at Anthropologie and seeing it on her makes me love it even more. They only had two left and now I am so regretting passing it up. I guess we just weren't meant to be, I'm going to cry now.

Went to see DMBQ play the night after Halloween. It was a blast and made up for my uneventful evening the night before. These dudes are so next levs, and the face mask/microphone contraption? I meannnnn.

Spent the weekend hanging with friends in Park Slope and the LES. Apparently some dude thought that it was ok to wear his hair in a high pony tail with a clip in the back. The picture really doesn't do it any justice. Saturday was spent at a Farmers Market and walking in Central Park, actually nice considering the weather was amazing. Saturday evening was filled with all things Madonna. The show was amazing and super politically charged. I love her, and I really love it when she screams things like "Safe Sex Motherfuckers" and calls the audience "pussies".

I broke out this 3.1 coat last night and biked all over town. It is one of my favorite pieces ever but it can be a little hard to wear cause I have to make a point not to make it look too "Thriller". Hopefully this will get a lot of wear this fall. Yay fall!

My old blue Doc Martens. I thought these were gone but my mom found them in the attic. I used to wear these with black eyeliner on my lips to My Life With the Thrill Kill Cult concerts.

Grandma's vintage floor length cape. Not sure how I can pull this one off considering I am pretty short. Most likely I will just stare at it on the back of my door all season.

Thrifted Dior Suit (pencil skirt not pictured). $4. I must admit, the skirt is a little tight. It fits amazing but I am afraid if I consume anything, it will rip in half.

Thrifted moto-esque boots. $2. These are what I have been looking for and even though the shape is a little off, I will wear them proud knowing I spent nothing on them.

I am happy to say that I uncovered a ton of awesomeness in my mom's closet and also on a recent thrift excursion. I am now in possession of a purple Christian Dior suit that was $4. I'll post everything soon but in the meantime stare at these pretty Rachel Comey alpaca gloves. Oh la la!

I have been thinking a lot about androgyny lately and how some girls can pull it off with such ease. I, unfortunately, am not one of those girls. Every time I try to put on an outfit like this, I look like a boy. It doesn't matter how long my hair is, how many rings I am wearing...you get the point. Yay for these gals for making it look so easy!

This picture is making me want to cut off all my hair. How adorable is she? Not only is she rocking the awesome AA skirt we all have but her accessories are killer. The only thing about this photo that stands out as a bit off is the shoes, and its not because I don't like them. Her feet seriously look enormous!

I love all the Pleasure Principle stuff on the Oak site. I must say I have been a bit over clothes as of late, or maybe it's just my clothes. I am awaiting the cooler weather so I can break out jeans again, I am sick of little dresses and sandals. The PP stuff looks exciting to me and I hope to be back in the money soon so I can get myself some new threads. These jeans will definitely be part of my fall wardrobe.

Thursday night was just cool enough for me to break out my Dries booties. I love these things so much and can't wait for them to be part of my daily wardrobe again. I was lucky enough to get them on super sale.

I tried on these Balenciaga boots today and had I bought them, I could have died a happy woman. I came home empty handed because I have a pair of Imitation of Christ boots that look almost the same, just more of a rounded toe. I can't wait to break them out and pretend I am wearing the Balenciaga version.

I have been wanting the CDG Play cardigan sweater for a while. I just came across this striped tee version and must say that it may beat out the cardigan. Always one for stripes, I can picture living in this for fall.

I tried on the shorter version of this jacket by Heimstone and loved it. This one, available at Language, would look great on someone a bit taller than my 5'3 stature. It fit perfectly and the long sleeves looked amazing pushed up.

Does anyone know who makes the boots Sienna Miller is wearing? They remind me of these awesome Chanel boots that I passed up at the Saks after holiday sale for $300. I still think about them every single day.
